Torg and his buddies have hunted morel mushrooms for over fifty years. In this documentary shot in North Central Indiana, hear their stories, learn some of their secrets, and join them for a local hunt. This is a story of friendship and the trials that come with getting older.

  1. Your film brought back great memories for me. I taught at Fulton and Caston in the 1960s. Torg, Casey, and Kenny were part of a faculty assembled to jump start a unique K-12 educational center resulting from the consolidation of four schools in two counties. I happened upon the doc as I looked for morel hunting info. I remember ordering them at burger spots in Rochester and Logansport.
    I have retired from teaching and over three decades as a local history librarian and historian in southern Indiana. I divide my time between Louisville, KY and Wilmington, NC. Keep up the great storytelling, William.
