 The Mushroom Hunter is short film and feature-length documentary film in progress. It tells the story of my dad, The Mushroom Hunter, who has been hunting for morel mushrooms with his buddies for over fifty years. In this film, you’ll hear their stories, learn some of their secrets, and join them for a local hunt.

Footage was shot primarily in three places, all in Indiana: a morel hunter’s basement, France Park near Logansport, and Brown County at the Simply Music Simply Morel Mushroom Festival.
